Duration of Courses
All courses at Federal Polytechnic, Kabo are only at National Diploma (ND) level. ND programme will take two full years to complete and each year is divided into two semesters. At this stage, students study what they need to know about their chosen subjects and skills they can use. The job of lecturers in the school is to prepare students for both work and further learning. After completing the programme, students must go for Industrial Training (IT). For one year, students will be on training and get hands on work experience in what they are learning.
Upon completion of IT, students can go on to study Higher National Diploma (HND) programme. HND programme in this course can be taken at Federal Polytechnic Kabo or in other polytechnics that have the approval. Having ND, IT and HND gives students skills useful for future jobs.
